This would be a game changer. The one thing that I lack to move on from the Apple ecosystem. Given that this idea is 10 years old, based on when the first comments came out, I'm not gonna lie - I wonder what the reason would be for waiting so long to be under review. Let's make this happen! And if you ever get to an Apple Watch complication, make sure events and todos can both be a part of the compilation...

Essential for me to effectively use Proton Calendar as a mature alternative for the bigtech solutions.

The Tasks and Todo list MUST integrate with proton calendar. That's the only reason i would even get the calendar.

Don't like using two platforms (Proton + Outlook) to handle my to-do list. Would like to move exclusively to Proton. Recurring tasks that can renew n days/weeks/months after completion are important.

For me, too, that is really what’s holding me back from fully adopting Proton Mail/Calendar: the ability to have task lists where I can link an email or a document and then see them in the calendar, just like the features Google offers.

The last critical feature I need to make the full switch to the Proton ecosystem. There's no debate here — both Google and Apple have gradually rolled it out, and it simply belongs in any modern calendar app. You can't really do without it these days. Please 🙏

I wanted to give you an idea for something which is missing in the Proton apps family, a Proton Tasks app (similar to google tasks) where you can put your to-do list for the day, week, long term, etc. It could have its own phone widget and also be interlinked with the proton calendar. I feel like it is a really simple app to make, yet I quite notice its absence since I still use google tasks.

Lack of Proton Tasks is super critical and clearly a need.

Key features that matter to me are:

- scheduling tasks in the calendar
- easily moving tasks between custom lists
- deadlines for tasks in addition to the time scheduled to do the task, both visible in the calendar
- recurring tasks

This would be great if chosen Tasks/To-Do lists could be shared with other proton users... ie. my family members. We use (hold nose) Google Keep for this often.

Task manager and/or to do list, integrated with Calendar - essential to be competitive with Google/MS.Can't beleive its still not available in Proton.

The only reason i still use google calendar is their tasks feature - please just copy and integrate sth like that into proton calendar finally.

I would love to have a stand alone app. for tasks, lists and notes, and to have the hability to incert/view all of these in the/my calendar

Presuming that this feature would also include the possibility to properly import all task types from my .ics file (created by Thunderbird), i.e. not just plain tasks but also tasks with a due date (DTSTART and DUE values) and recurring tasks (with DTSTART, RRULE and X-MOZ-LASTACK values).

I use Keep ALL OF THE TIME and would like to divest completely from Google!

This would be great. Just like Google Calendar being able to see task on your calendar would really boost productivity.

This would be fantastic. Just please dont release it where it looks like Prton Calendar which is a beta version at best.
